Radja Nainggolan Renew Contract until June 2021
Radja Nainggolan ended speculation about his future at the Stadio Olimpico. Belgian Batak bloody midfielder decided to renew his contract with AS Roma on Thursday (27/7/2017) night or Friday morning local time.
The 29-year-old agreed to extend his contract for four seasons. That means, Nainggolan remain with the Italian capital club until the summer of 2021.
“I am very happy, I can continue the adventure and fight along with the club,” said Nainggolan as quoted from the official website of AS Roma.
Nainggolan joined Roma from Cagliari in January 2014. He recorded 161 appearances alongside Il Giallorossi and scored 27 goals.
The 2016-2017 season may be the most special for Nainggolan. He scored 14 goals in all competitions that followed the club bearing the wolf and crowned as the best player of AS Roma 2016-2017 season based on fan choice.
President of AS Roma, James Palotta can not hide his happiness towards Nainggolan commitment.
“I am happy that Radja is committed to the team and last season he became one of the best midfielders in the world, so it’s no wonder many clubs are interested in him,” the president said.
“But I am sure Nainggolan will live here, he loves Rome and we are happy to have a figure like Nainggolan.”
Indeed, in the transfer market this summer, the name Nainggolan including the crowded talked, as the news he never renew the contract. Manchester United are at the forefront as the clubs are most interested in getting it.
